Nature vs Nurture

What taught the creature to show such restraint? This could have been programmed into its brain from whatever person the mind previously belonged to. Victor may have wired the creautre to show benevolence, which was later ruined by its circumstances. The nature argument would say these things, claiming the creature knew nothing different because it was hardwired to act that way. Nurture theorists assume it learned from watching the family. They could have held back their anger, and the creauture saw that and did the same. It is unclear which side wins this fight, but whichever it wait the creature does eventually learn hate from it. Whether from rejection or Victor's subconscious, the creature begins murdering people for hatred of Victor. We may never know the true cause of the creature's corruption.
